Best Luxury Resorts in Seychelles: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Best Area or Island to Stay in Seychelles?

You are spoilt for choice when looking at visiting Seychelles. If you’re looking for things to do outside your resort, one of the main islands, such as Mahe, is your best bet.
However, if your budget will stretch to it, get to one of the many private islands within the archipelago for a more tranquil, peaceful and undisturbed slice of paradise.

Practical Tips to Consider Before Booking Your Seychelles Resort

  • Make sure you understand the immigration requirements for entering Seychelles before you book your resort.
  • If you’re staying away from Mahe, where Seychelles International Airport is, book your onward travel in advance and leave enough time to make your connection.
  • Do your homework on the local climate to understand the best time to visit. April and May or October and November are generally considered the best times to visit, as these are the periods when the trade winds are at their calmest.
